Started in 1992, Ali Amair Associates began as a registered partnership that delved into large-scale indenting and trading. The company has won international tenders for major government organizations, such as Sui Gas Company, Water and Power Development Authority, Pakistan Railways, Pakistan Steel, Defence Procurement Organization, and other such organizations which require the purchase of foreign equipment, plants and materials.

Ali Amair Associates plays an intermediary role in linking foreign principals/manufacturers with government tenders. One of its first projects pertained to supplying Hot Rolled Coils of Special Steel Grade to Pakistan’s largest integrated natural gas company, the Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited. The project was valued at $21 million, and after linking Russian suppliers with the buyers, the coils were successfully converted in High Pressure Pipes which are still functioning today to provide suigas to the upper regions of the country.
